Classroom Rules
Other than meeting a generous deadline there's no hurry. Being faster with your submission doesn't give you an advantage, so you may as well read the following carefully.

To take part in this contest you need a Cardmarket account, and you need to send us an email from the email address associated with your account to [email protected] by the end of Monday (April 26, 11:59 p.m. CEST). You can send multiple emails, but if you do, only your last submission will count.

The body of your email should contain up to fifteen card names in plain text, in any order. Because a robot reads your emails, only full and correctly spelled English card names will count. This includes punctuation and spaces, but our robot doesn't care about capitalization. You don't need to specify the set or version of a card, and if a card has a secondary name, for example because it's a double-faced card, you can leave that one out as well. Our robot won't read anything else you write, including the subject line of your email, and it already knows your Cardmarket username from your email address. Don't even think about gaming the system by submitting all 20.000+ card names in existence. All emails with more than 600 characters will automatically earn a disqualification.

Don't post a comment with your solutions and/or hints! Feel free to use the comment section below for feedback or questions or to tell the world about your progress, but don't spoil the fun of the challenge by giving away any of the card names or where to find them. If you see such a comment before we do, consider flagging it as "inappropriate." Serious offenders may earn a disqualification as well.
Scholarship Grants
After the end of the deadline, we draw our winners from a pool consisting exclusively of the final, eligible submission from each email address.

First, we look at all submissions with at least thirteen correct cards and randomly select three to win €12 in Cardmarket credit.

Next, we look at all remaining submissions with at least eleven correct cards and randomly select five to win €8 in Cardmarket credit.

Next, we look at all remaining submissions with at least nine correct cards and randomly select twelve to win €5 in Cardmarket credit.

Next, we look at all remaining submissions with at least seven correct cards and randomly select sixteen to win €3 in Cardmarket credit.

Next, we look at all remaining submissions with at least five correct cards and randomly select sixteen to win €1 in Cardmarket credit.
If any of the above tiers should have fewer submissions than listed, the corresponding prizes move down to the next tier. In each case, "remaining submissions" refers to those that have not won anything through any of the preceding bullet points. Someone who submits fourteen correct cards first enters the raffle for the €12 prize. If they win, they're out, but if they don't, they next join the raffle for the €8, and so on.
Homework Assignment
The following graphic features art taken from fifteen different Magic cards. The resulting pile of books is held together by strong sorcery (you can tell because the lights, shadows, and perspectives don't line up neatly) and it is your task to uncover the cards' identities. Note that some of the books may have been turned or twisted, distorted or partially destroyed or fixed to fit.
