The new Eligeth and Siani seem to be made for each other, and as both have partner, why not build a deck around them? Eligeth transforms all our scrying into card draw and Siani gives us a huge scry. What more do you need from a partner pair? If you like drawing cards, then this monoblue Commander deck is for you.
We all know how powerful scrying can be, sometimes, especially in the late game, just as good as straight-up drawing a card. But what if we turn scrying into actual card draw? If you like your cards to flow, then I would like you to meet , a new six-mana blue Sphinx commander from Commander Legends that does indeed change all your scrying into card draw.
Since Eligeth has partner, we can pair it up with another commander, ideally a commander that cares about scrying. How about ? Here's another blue commander from Commander Legends, and this one lets us scry when it attacks equal to the number of flying creatures attacking. Can you see what I am going for? A monoblue Commander deck with a focus on scrying and flying!
Turning Preordain into Ancestral Recall
The main plan of this deck is to try and draw a bunch of cards with cheap scrying spells when Eligeth is out on the battlefield. Consider casting , a one-mana spell that normally will let you scry 2 and draw a card. Now think about it in the context of Eligeth. One mana, draw three cards? That sounds an awful lot like , one of the most powerful cards ever printed in Magic. The possibility to turn our average scry spells into powerful draws is enough to get me excited.
Scry Me a River
There are a lot of scrying spells in Magic; however, I limited myself to just seventeen cards in the deck. This is because we can use our other commander Siani and flying creatures to attack and trigger scry/draw. Cards that really scale up well with Eligeth are , , , , and .
will let us scry each time we play a land. Similarly will also trigger when we play one of our s, while giving us a chance to create a 20/20 flier, which, technically synergizes with Siani as well. and let us scry at the beginning of our upkeep. is a counterspell we can use to protect our plays with the added possibility of letting us draw two cards. If we control Eligeth and cast we can draw nine cards for only five mana.
Flying to the Rescue
In order to trigger Siani we need to run a number of flying creatures. Good thing we don't have to worry about that in monoblue. What if we have flying creatures that also scry? and are good examples of this. and can create a small flying army while can steal any useful artifacts or equipment for us to use. lets us draw each time we attack with a flying creature.
is a new card from Commander Legends that can help us swing with our fliers and untap again afterward. Most of our creatures already have flying, but what if our opponents also have fliers of their own? Then we play , which prevents others' creatures from flying so only our creatures will be able to soar above the battlefield.
Two Instead of One
Since we will try to draw a lot of cards why not draw some more? and will give us two cards for each extra card we draw. This means that we run the possibility of having a very small library during the course of a game. We can turn that to an advantage by adding cards that win us the game if we have no cards left to draw, such as and .

Conclusion
This is a new fun deck with a lot of possibilities. You can win by either beating your opponents with your fliers or drawing your whole library. Something you have to be careful about when playing this deck is that you will be tempted not to cast the scrying spells unless you have Eligeth out. However, it is important to be able to ramp and set up your board. Sometimes you will need to manipulate your draws for an easier setup. Another thing to consider is playing at instant speed. In the list I included and to help us keep our mana open and cast any spell at the very last minute or the most opportune time.
