Yu-Gi-Oh! was a juggernaut in the early 2000s and quickly became that era's best-selling card game. Despite this monumental success, a legal battle between the two companies involved in the TCG's distribution almost brought the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game to a halt in Europe and the Americas.
