Featuring three Shadow heroes, the milestone twentieth set brings us the penultimate chapter in the War of the Monarch. 263 cards await players who are willing to join the demonic forces of darkness and who are ready to access forbidden powers.

This might be the strongest ally card we have ever seen, only rivaled by our dear . While doesn't have the same defensive capabilities, she completely makes up for it with her amazing on-hit effects and proactive, aggressive tools. But let's recap what this new card does and how we want to use it!
Restless Quartermaster is a 0 cost ally with Decay and has 3 life. When paired with , it automatically enters attacking if it was played from a graveyard or banished zone. What's more, when it dies, it will grant us a , a great recursion tool that converts blood debt into 3 power attacks with go again. This is linked to the condition of destroying a you own, and creating them is still a puzzle to be solved with the remaining previews!
While we can still expect more Shadow Necromancer cards to be released, some Armory Deck: Malice material already shows off the hero's deck identity: For example, is a 0 cost, 3 block, 4 damage, go again even if we are not interested in paying resources into it. This is an amazing rate for any aggressive card, making Restless Quartermaster's attack much more threatening and awkward for the opponent. The same is true for , since blocking 3 is a lot more comfortable for most decks than 4, the classic breaking point in Flesh and Blood.
A board-state-based hero with a lot of on-hit effects, such as Restless Quartermaster or , is something we have never seen before. We truly have to wonder … or marvel: Are interactive on-hit and wide recursion effects enough to make Malice the most powerful hero of the set?
