Damnation MTG Fest

On the weekend of January 3–5, Magic players gathered in Pisa, Italy, for the Damnation MTG Fest. Ari Faggin came in first among 312 Modern players with Mardu Energy, Marco Candela came in first among 314 Pauper players with {c=Sadistic Glee}, and Luca Bonetto came in first among 108 Legacy players with Cradle Control.

On January 4, Yu-Gi-Oh! players gathered in Olsberg, Germany, for the traditional tournament of the "Heilige Drei Könige" (the Three Kings/Magi/Wise Men). The event was streamed with commentary by Joshua Schmidt and Sebastian Lemke. Keno Mandrysch won playing a Fiendsmith/Ryzeal/Bystial deck.
