Adding another game to Cardmarket is quite an undertaking, not just in setup but also in upkeep. Our developers need to create some additional infrastructure, our support staff has to become familiar with many of the game's specifics, and our product department continuously needs to stay up to date with releases and always add all of those new cards. The Cardmarketing department then too has to get the word out, so that all of our co-workers' efforts end up finding the right audience.
The declared goal in all of this is to make the largest number of current and potential future users happy. Yes, growing the business plays into it as well, but that is thankfully an automatic side effect. To get a better understanding, though, of what would make the largest number of people happy, we need your help. Whether you're an active Cardmarket user already or an avid player of a trading card game that you hope to see on Cardmarket, or both, we want to hear from you. Tell us what change in our lineup of games would make you happy, and there's a chance we'll make it happen. Indeed, the survey below is your best chance ever to affect such change.
Note that not making any such changes, for the time being, is an option too. It is possible that the resources we'd put into a new game are more likely to make more people happier if we spent them on other kinds of improvements instead. We will look at the results of this survey under this aspect as well and will also take further considerations into account. This survey is part of our assessment but won't bring any game to Cardmarket by itself. Shadowverse: Evolve
Launched in June 2023 by Cygames/Bushiroad, Shadowverse: Evolve "is a competitive trading card game based on the digital collectible card game Shadowverse. The gameplay closely follows Shadowverse with the inclusion of new mechanics that allow for new ways to play. Create a deck by combining cards based on your selected class. Sorcery: Contested Realm
Launched in June 2023 by Erik's Curiosa, Sorcery: Contested Realm "is an 'old school' fantasy card game for players with a rich imagination, tactical nerve, and an appreciation for hand-painted art—a modern classic. By combining high-quality, hand-painted fantasy art by legendary artists with a vintage collector aesthetic and modern game design, Sorcery: Contested Realm was able to resonate with a global audience, resulting in the biggest Kickstarter campaign ever for a TCG [by 2022]."
Grand Archive
Launched in April 2023 by Weebs of the Shore, Grand Archive is "an anime TCG with western game design. The first anime TCG that focuses on card clarity, low stat numbers, and precise rules text."
Primal Trading Card Game
First launched via promo packs in 2022, Primal by Dattebayo Labs is "the world's most strategic trading card game. [It] is a fantasy- based trading card game (TCG) that begins in the simulated land of Arizal."
UniVersus
Originally released as Universal Fighting System in 2006, UniVersus by UVS Games is "a character-driven, multi-IP fighting card game. It's the only CCG that allows you to play as your favorite character from your most-loved franchises. Simple principles, complex interactions, deep strategic gameplay."
Altered
Slated to launch in July 2024, Altered by Equinox is "a game for everyone, accessible and welcoming, simple yet deep. For fans of trading card games, Altered is a dream come true."
Alpha Clash
Launched in 2023 by Rising Empire Studios, Alpha Clash "is a superhero-themed trading card game that immerses players into the Alpha Clash universe based on the novel and comic book series.
