The Yu-Gi-Oh! Card That Caused Riots in Japan

Back in 1999, Yu-Gi-Oh! was the hottest new series on the market, and it was only a matter of time before its Duel Monsters card game received a real-life adaptation. When the famous Exodia first hit the scene, players were willing to go to extreme lengths to get their hands on this monster.

Fun Fact

Throughout history some religions have considered various body parts of their saints to be holy themselves and kept them enshrined across several locations. For example, Wikipedia says that "the head of Thomas Aquinus is thought to rest in the cathedral of Priverno in Latium" and "Aquinas's left arm bone is kept as a relic by San Domenico Maggiore in Naples." No one knows what happens if you ever get all four limbs and the head into your hand at once, but presumably you win the game.
