World Championship 2025 Contest

Hundreds of the world's finest Flesh and Blood players are set to compete at the World Championship, November 14–16, and you can be part of the action from home. Pick three countries, and if they win big, you win too!

The World Championship has always been where players from different countries meet to engage in a friendly rivalry. After all, many of them qualified via one of the 47 National Championships earlier this year. We want to follow this spirit with our contest, so all you have to do is: Pick your #1 country, your #2 country, and your #3 country from the form below!

You get four points if a player from a country you picked becomes World Champion.
You get one point for each additional player from such a country who reaches the Top 8.
You get points equal to the average number of matches these players win on Friday/Saturday.
All of the above points multiply by three for your #1 pick and by two for your #2 pick.
The eight submissions with the highest point totals win prizes (see below) with ties broken by a randomized draw if necessary.

Heroic Prizes, Legendary Partner

We have once again partnered with Legend Story Studios for this contest. They have generously donated a bunch of boxes as well as exclusive World Championship promo cards (pictured above) to the prize pool.

First to fourth place each receive one Super Slam booster box as well as one copy of each of the three World Championship promos Dash I/O, Florian, and Prism.
Fifth to eighth place each receive €100 in Cardmarket credit.

Once calculated, Top 4 winners also receive an email at the email address connected to their Cardmarket account. So please keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder). You can further expect an update to this article announcing all winners in the week after the World Championship, no later than November 21.

The 2025 World Championship has ended with a historic triumph for Canada, but there are still surprises in the full tournament data. We ran the numbers according to our contest's point system and can report the following ranking of the Top 24 countries:

A special shoutout goes to Cardmarket user Arctic-TCG. He only finished 30th at our Worlds contest, because he didn't pick his own home country. But he also participated in the actual World Championship, reached the Top 8 there, and all by himself put Austria into the lead here.

Conditions of Participation and Privacy Policy for the World Championship 2025 Contest of Sammelkartenmarkt GmbH & Co. KG

§ 1 Subject matter

(1) These terms and conditions of participation and data protection information govern the participation in the competition of Sammelkartenmarkt GmbH & Co. KG, Nordkapstr. 4, 10439 Berlin (hereinafter referred to as the "organizer") as well as the collection and use of data collected from or communicated by participants.

(2) By participating in the competition participants accept these conditions of participation.

§ 2 Conditions of participation

(1) The participation period begins on November 7, 2025, at 2:00 CET and ends on November 13, 2025, at 23:59 CET.

(2) Every valid Cardmarket account is eligible to participate. Such an account can be opened free of charge at www.cardmarket.com. Excluded are accounts held by employees of the organizer as well as employees of cooperation partners who are or were involved in the creation or execution of the competition.

(3) Every eligible Cardmarket account under whose username the form available on this page and at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9MYN7T3 is submitted during the participation period automatically participates in the competition. Submissions not tied to a valid Cardmarket account do not participate.

(4) Any other registration or application to participate is neither required nor possible. In particular, tickets submitted through the organizer's support system cannot be considered.

§ 3 Processing, payment, notification, publication of winner data

(1) After the conclusion of the Flesh and Blood World Championship 2025, the organizer shall rank the latest submission received by the end of the participation period for each eligible Cardmarket account based on country affiliations and tournament results published at https://fabtcg.com and based on the following point values, with higher point values corresponding to higher ranks: 12 points if the World Champion's country affiliation matches the participant's #1 selection, 8 points if the World Champion's country affiliation matches the participant's #2 selection, 4 points if the World Champion's country affiliation matches the participant's #3 selection, 3 points for each additional Top 8 player whose country affiliation matches the participant's #1 selection, 2 points for each additional Top 8 player whose country affiliation matches the participant's #2 selection, 1 point for each additional Top 8 player whose country affiliation matches the participant's #3 selection, points equal to three times the average number of match wins during the World Championship's Swiss rounds on November 14 and 15 across players whose country affiliation matches the participant's #1 selection, points equal to two times the average number of match wins during the World Championship's Swiss rounds on November 14 and 15 across players whose country affiliation matches the participant's #2 selection, points equal to the average number of match wins during the World Championship's Swiss rounds on November 14 and 15 across players whose country affiliation matches the participant's #3 selection. In the event that more than four such submissions are tied on points for the top four ranks and/or more than eight such submissions are tied for the top eight ranks, the organizer shall break ties via a randomized drawing among affected submissions.

(2) The top four submissions thus determined entitle the account holders to receive one Super Slam booster box as well as one copy of each of the three World Championship promos Dash I/O, Florian, and Prism. The fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth highest ranked submissions thus determined entitle the account holders to have €100 added to their Cardmarket account's balances.

(3) All such funds shall be credited no later than fourteen days after the end of the participation period. All physical prizes shall be shipped by our partner Legend Story Studios to the primary shipping addresses winners have listed on their Cardmarket accounts within three months of the conclusion of the participation period. All top four winners shall be notified via email at the email addresses connected to their Cardmarket accounts and may be required to provide additional information to facilitate shipping.

(4) Payment of any prize in cash, in kind, its exchange or transfer to other persons or accounts is not possible.

(5) The organizer may identify winners by username on the organizer's website and/or on the organizer's social media channels.

§ 4 Exclusion from the competition

The organizer may exclude from the competition certain participants who violate these conditions of participation or who attempt to influence the competition or the draw with the help of technical manipulation without notice or explanation. In such a case, prizes may also be subsequently withdrawn and reclaimed.

§ 5 Exclusion of warranty

The organizer points out that the availability and function of the competition cannot be guaranteed. The competition may be terminated or removed due to external circumstances and constraints, without this giving rise to any claims by participants against the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.

§ 6 Liability

(1) The following exclusions and limitations of liability shall apply to the liability of the organizer for damages, irrespective of any other legal obligations regarding claims.

(2) The organizer shall be liable without limitation insofar as the cause of the damage is based on intent or gross negligence.

(3) Furthermore, the organizer shall be liable for the slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, the breach of which jeopardizes the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for the breach of obligations the fulfillment of which is essential to the proper implementation of the competition and on the compliance with which the contractual partners regularly rely. In this case, however, the organizer shall only be liable for the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. The organizer shall not be liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those specified previously.

(4) The above limitations of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb, or health, for a defect following the assumption of guarantees regarding the quality of a product, and in the event of fraudulently concealed defects. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

(5) Insofar as the liability of the organizer is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of employees, representatives, and vicarious agents of the organizer.

§ 7 Data protection information

(1) The organizer collects and uses the data of the participants only insofar as this is legally permitted or the participants consent to it.

(2) The organizer collects the following data from participants and uses the data for the design, implementation, and execution of the competition: username and selection of countries as well as, in case of a win, email address, name, address, and phone number.

(3) Upon request in writing or any text form, participants can at any time receive from the organizer information about personal data stored by the organizer, can request correction and deletion, and can revoke consent to data use.
