The deck's usual combo consists of three pieces. is our way to keep recasting spells on the combo turn, allows us to self-mill to feed the escape costs, and to top it off we need any zero-mana artifact. Said artifact untaps Station, Station sacrifices artifact, Breach brings back artifact. The end result is that we mill our entire library and win with or . Thanks to Breach, we don't have to have all of these cards in hand. If you already played any in the game, you can recast them on the combo turn directly from the graveyard. So this is a multi-card combo that in longer games will only require Breach itself.

The deck has multiple additional plans should the combo avenue not be open. creates pretty sizeable tokens in this shell, which can either apply pressure or roadblock opposing threats. is another way to steal games if uncontested, especially as we have removal to clear the way. filters cards for us and is a flying threat. We can combine those plans as well. Constructs and Shredder can put some pressure on the opponent, so that a small Breach with Grapeshot will finish them off.

What the deck is getting from The Brothers' War is a seemingly innocuous uncommon in . It is a go-wide threat akin to that triggers off our , , and many more. Furthermore, it slots into our combo package very nicely as Andrea Mengucci himself noticed. The combo works as it did, but with Iconoclast on the battlefield generating artifact Soldiers, you can untap and activate Grinding Station twice for each zero-mana artifact you cast. This means, you can perform the combo normally and not just empty your library but the opponent's library too!

This has further implications, as with Iconoclast and you may not need at all anymore and could run . Just when you thought the deck had enough backup plans already, it gains a few primary game plans on top!
