Are you a true Magic expert and know all about the game's most popular cards? Then prove it and take part in our trivia contest! This year we want you to guess the five cards that sold the most copies on Cardmarket.com between January 1 and November 14, 2022, in each of three different categories. We conclude with the third category: three-mana cards.
Note: We ranked all Magic cards by all completed sales across all versions and sets (a change from similar contests in the past). This means our best-seller list now includes a lot of evergreen favorites. Just take a look at what ended up in sixth place among the three-mana cards:

There are currently 18 different versions of
If you're wondering what counts as a three-mana card, please don't. We're really using the most simple definition here: Without the influence of other effects, there is no way to play any of these cards from your hand other than paying exactly three mana.
The Prizes
-
Across this year's three Magic trivia contests, we award a total of €480 in Cardmarket credit, split between 48 different winners.
-
Each winner receives €10 in Cardmarket credit.
-
After the end of each deadline, we select sixteen winners using a lottery system.
-
Each correct card equals one entry into the lottery. So, for example, participants who get five cards correct have a chance to win that's five times as high as those who only get one correct.
-
In case we get less than sixteen submissions with at least one correct card on this contest, leftover prizes go to random submissions.
The Rules (Please Read)
-
Post a comment below that includes up to five card names. You can list fewer if you want, but we have to disqualify comments with more than five. You don't need to worry about which card was number one, number two, and so on on the list of best sellers. It's only relevant whether a card was among the Top 5 or not.
-
Put each card name on a separate line, all by itself.
-
Because we make a robot read your comments, it is important you submit full and correctly spelled English card names written exactly as listed in the Cardmarket product catalog. This includes all letters, spaces, and punctuation. If you're unsure of a spelling, look up your card in our database and copy-paste. Capital letters, however, are optional. You can write all the letters in lower case or SHOUT AT OUR ROBOT or use CReATivE cApITAlizATioN. Robot won't care.
-
The deadline for three-mana submissions is December 18, 23:59 CET. You can leave multiple comments until then, and you can also edit your comments. If you do either of that, only your latest comment or edit counts, provided it fell within the deadline. Comments posted or edited after the deadline don't count at all.
Expect an article to reveal all the answers and all prizes to go out on Monday next week. Good luck and have fun!
