Robert started using Cardmarket in 2012 and started working at Cardmarket in 2017. He quickly advanced to the role of Product Manager and eventually became the company's CEO in 2021.

Robert fell in love with Magic during the original Theros block and has been playing fanatically ever since. He has built more than 50 different Commander decks, remains a frequent guest at Cardmarket's weekly Commander night, and has written dozens of articles on the format. When not brewing or playing Commander decks, he enjoys Legacy and especially Cube drafting.
