Cardmarket Sponsored Events …
Every month Cardmarket supports a number of events all over Europe, and we also share a few highlights of what happened where. But our recap articles can't ever paint a full picture, so here's a quick overview of last year's numbers: In 2025 we sponsored more events than ever before, a total of 126, an increase of 21% compared to 2024. We reached thousands of players across nine games, eighteen countries, and 86 cities, all the way from Bodø in the Arctic to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria off the coast of west Africa.

The good news start with: Nothing about these coupons or our intention to keep growing the sponsorship program is changing. We continue to manage it using the same criteria as before. The even better (and more actual) news concern all of those sleeves/deck cases/playmats. Cardmarket and Gatherers' Tavern have entered into an exclusive partnership to take our now shared event sponsorship to the next level.
If you don't know Gatherers' Tavern yet, it's about time. This manufacturer has become famous for producing top-quality TCG accessories, especially for its line of premium DOMARU boxes, and for partnering with big publishers such as Wizards of the Coast and Konami. It's not the first time we have cooperated with Gatherers' Tavern either. You may have seen that we shared a booth at Gamescom last year or that on several occasions we already gave away sets of DOMARU boxes.
Now it's time for us to ship out even more such boxes and other exciting Gatherers' Tavern products. Starting in March and going for at least the next twelve months, organizers and thus attendees of our sponsored events can look forward to receiving: various DOMARU deck cases, sleeves, playmats, and more—all supplied exclusively by the leading industry experts at Gatherers' Tavern.
We're not just excited to have Gatherers' Tavern as the exclusive supplier of our sponsored accessories. We're especially happy to have the Tavern team create exclusive products to represent their and our brand, products that are not available anywhere else—only at our sponsored events starting in April/May.
One last bit of news: To make the rebranding complete, we're also changing the names of our event tiers. What we previously labeled Drake, Wyvern, and Dragon are now:
