Gatherers' Tavern has quickly become a favorite in the world of TCG accessories, providing official merchandise for some of the biggest names in games. Especially the high-end Arty and Domaru deck boxes have found fans all around the world and on Cardmarket in particular. Gatherers' Tavern has also found a friend in Cardmarket itself. And as friends do, we've been happy to engage in some shared activities and to share the love of trading card gaming with as many people as possible.
For example, in April, for the release of Magic: The Gathering's Tarkir: Dragonstorm, we teamed up to give away ten Tarkir-themed Domaru deck boxes. These proved quite popular. We received more than 2,500 submissions from Cardmarket users who wanted to secure such a box then, and they only became more popular since: In early August, we gave away ten Edge of Eternities Domaru deck boxes and received more than 4,000 submissions! However, the biggest Gatherers' Tavern x Cardmarket team-up yet came later that month, offline, at Gamescom, one of the world's largest game fairs with thousands upon thousands of visitors …
Gathering at Gamescom
Gatherers' Tavern and Cardmarket shared a booth at the famous Gamescom in Cologne on the weekend of August 20–24, 2025. We provided space for people to play trading card games, invited renowned creators Speci (Lorcana), Lampi (Yu-Gi-Oh!), and Zero (Pokémon), and also brought along Carl, Thoralf, and Jamin (from our own Magic channel).
Our friends at Gatherers' Tavern produced maximally cute playmats and sleeves for the occasion, featuring their company mascot, Cinnamon, along with Cardmarket's delivery dragon, Pablo. Flying through the sky, the two really look like a match made in heaven here, don't they?
People who visited our booth could get either of these or some Cardmarket credit for free by taking a spin on our wheel of fortune. This activity proved quite popular too, of course, and made for more than a few happy faces.
Naturally, Gatherers' Tavern also had some new products to show off. For example, if you're a Yu-Gi-Oh! player, maybe you want to pack your cards into a real, fluffy
