Easter Egg Hunt

Can you spot secret coded messages in images? Would you like to win €60 in Cardmarket credit? Are you fond of time-honored Easter traditions? Then you have come to the right place. Start your Easter egg hunt here!

Oh no! An evil Easter bunny has hidden codes in pictures scattered across Cardmarket Insight, the part of our website you're reading right now, and we need you to find them. After all, there are dozens of Easter presents on the line.

Each winner of our Easter egg hunt receives a Cardmarket coupon for €60 (five dozen euros).
We select 24 such winners (two dozen people) via a randomized drawing where each Easter egg code you find equals one entry.
There are 21 Easter egg codes in total. If you find all of them, for example, your chance to win is three times as high as it is for someone who finds seven. Finding ten codes doubles the chance compared to five. Winning with eight is four times as likely as winning with two. And so on. But don't worry: anyone who correctly submits at least one Easter egg code here can win €60!

Easter Egg Codes (and How to Find Them)

Each Insight article that's been published between February 2, 2026, and this Easter Sunday contains exactly one image with an Easter egg code. (Links below may also give you interesting stuff to read/watch.) Each code starts with EE followed by five characters from a pool of 2345678acgkmptvxy. (Note the possibility of characters repeating.) Some codes are easy to spot, but some are hidden fiendishly well. (Don't blame our regular graphic designer who is a kind person and had no hand in this.)

The code might be in an image that is displayed when you load the article. But almost half the time it's in an edited card picture instead that is only displayed when you hover over a card link. (Remember the evil Easter bunny mentioned above?) Finding one of these card pictures may require a bit of time and effort. (Enjoy our decklists!) It also requires the use of a computer to work properly. (Doing this challenge on a tiny phone screen is not a good idea anyway.) It's always sweet when we see or hear from people who work together on one of our contests. If you have fun hunting for Easter eggs within a group of friends, that's great. A higher overall total of correct answers lowers your own odds of winning, so sharing your eggs with others is actually a nice thing to do … But only elsewhere! Don't post any codes or where to find them in our comment section here on Insight. That just ruins the game for everyone who's still searching.

Conditions of Participation and Privacy Policy for the 2026 Easter Contest of Sammelkartenmarkt GmbH & Co. KG

§ 1 Subject matter

(1) These terms and conditions of participation and data protection information govern the participation in the contest of Sammelkartenmarkt GmbH & Co. KG, Nordkapstr. 4, 10439 Berlin (hereinafter referred to as the "organizer") as well as the collection and use of data collected from or communicated by participants.

(2) By participating in the contest participants accept these conditions of participation.

§ 2 Conditions of participation

(1) The participation period begins on April 5, 2026, at 2:00 CEST and ends on April 14, 2026, at 14:00 CEST.

(2) Every valid Cardmarket account is eligible to participate. Such an account can be opened free of charge at www.cardmarket.com. Excluded are accounts held by employees of the organizer as well as employees of cooperation partners who are or were involved in the creation or execution of the contest.

(3) Every eligible Cardmarket account under whose username the survey available at https://insight.cardmarket.com/en/Insight/Articles/easter-egg-hunt and https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MDHM3QZ is submitted during the participation period automatically participates in the contest. For each username the latest entry submitted in each field shall be considered.

(4) Any other registration or application to participate is neither required nor possible. In particular, tickets submitted through the organizer's support system cannot be considered.

§ 3 Processing, payment, notification, publication of winner data

(1) Following the conclusion of the participation period, the organizer shall determine 24 winners through a randomized drawing between eligible participants weighted by the number of answers that are considered correct, at the organizer's sole discretion, among each participant's latest entries.

(2) Winners selected in this manner shall each receive one Cardmarket coupon code for €60.

(3) Prizes shall be emailed to the primary email address connected to winners' Cardmarket accounts no later than seven days after the conclusion of the participation period.

(4) Payment of any prize in cash, in kind, its exchange or transfer to other persons or accounts is not possible.

(5) The organizer may identify winners by username on the organizer's website and/or on the organizer's social media channels.

§ 4 Exclusion from the competition

The organizer may exclude from the competition certain participants who violate these conditions of participation or who attempt to influence the competition or the draw with the help of technical manipulation without notice or explanation. In such a case, prizes may also be subsequently withdrawn and reclaimed.

§ 5 Exclusion of warranty

The organizer points out that the availability and function of the competition cannot be guaranteed. The competition may be terminated or removed due to external circumstances and constraints, without this giving rise to any claims by participants against the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.

§ 6 Liability

(1) The following exclusions and limitations of liability shall apply to the liability of the organizer for damages, irrespective of any other legal obligations regarding claims.

(2) The organizer shall be liable without limitation insofar as the cause of the damage is based on intent or gross negligence.

(3) Furthermore, the organizer shall be liable for the slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, the breach of which jeopardizes the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for the breach of obligations the fulfillment of which is essential to the proper implementation of the competition and on the compliance with which the contractual partners regularly rely. In this case, however, the organizer shall only be liable for the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. The organizer shall not be liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those specified previously.

(4) The above limitations of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb, or health, for a defect following the assumption of guarantees regarding the quality of a product, and in the event of fraudulently concealed defects. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

(5) Insofar as the liability of the organizer is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of employees, representatives, and vicarious agents of the organizer.

§ 7 Data protection information

(1) The organizer collects and uses the data of the participants only insofar as this is legally permitted or the participants consent to it.

(2) The organizer collects the following data from participants and uses the data for the design, implementation, and execution of the competition: username, IP addresses, and optional entries in up 21 answer fields. To facilitate winner notification and shipping of prizes, the organizer also relies on data participants have submitted to the organizer's website unrelated to the competition.

(3) Upon request in writing or any text form, participants can at any time receive from the organizer information about personal data stored by the organizer, can request correction and deletion, and can revoke consent to data use.
